How did I come up with CoachFire?
Back in 2009, I started working on a facebook application called Dogether (http://apps.facebook.com/dogether). It helps people achieve their goals using some gaming features (leveling system, 30 day challenges, social support, etc...) to keep the users motivated.
While I was working on Dogether, I realized actual coaches would be the most effective way to support people in their efforts. This is when I decided to create a tool for coaches.
